I recently stayed at a cozy traditional Hanok called Nagne House and had a fantastic experience. The location was superb, with Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Village within walking distance. The house itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. The owner of the house was incredibly nice and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. Despite the small rooms, the warm and inviting atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. The attached bathroom had modern amenities, including a warm toilet seat. I highly recommend Nagne House for anyone looking to have a unique and charming stay in Seoul.

Mind-blowingly amazing! The host went above and beyond, even helping us with lost luggage and guiding us to the right bus. The rooms were jaw-droppingly clean and beautifully painted in unique pastel colors. Every detail in the hotel was done with love and created a cozy atmosphere. Despite being in the heart of an bustling area, the hotel and rooms were surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful oasis. The location was super convenient, within walking distance to major attractions and close to public transportation. The staff were warm, friendly, and provided helpful information. Though the room was a bit smaller than expected, it was still a good stay. The owner even shared his homemade dish with us, which was a sweet gesture. I will definitely return for a relaxing weekend getaway.

I absolutely adored the charming decoration of the hanok! The traditional Korean elements blended beautifully with modern touches, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The courtyard with its mint blue pebbles and the maple tree added a touch of nature that made me feel at ease. The hotel's common areas were well-designed and easily accessible for senior people like myself, allowing me to move around comfortably.
I would have appreciated slightly more comfortable beds, especially for senior people who may have specific needs for a good night's sleep. However, the children working there did their best to ensure a pleasant stay overall.

Great traditional house with cozy rooms. Located in a beautiful and peaceful area, despite being in the center. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed.
The owner's distrust in guests regarding money-related issues created discomfort and unpleasant moments. The monetary part made me feel unwelcome.
